I read this book in the 8th grade?

Thank author of this post/commentand im having the darndest time trying to remember it...Its about this teenage girl who gets dared by either her best friend or Twin brother to go sleep over night in this old haunted "plantation" house...she accepts i think something happens to her flash light but she sees this ghost or something and its this boy who turns out to be the boy she was inlove with in a previous life and he was waiting for her all these years (?) and he helps her remember..she was the plantation owners daughter and he worked for them as a farm hand or something her dad was really abusive to her and they fall inlove and want to run away..i think that the dad buys her hair clips and the boy (i think his names daniel) goes inside her house they makeout a little he ruffels her hair and thats how her dad knows somethings up cause her clips are out of place (i dont know if thats really in the story or if i made it up but i seem to remember it from the book) and the dad beats her and then leaves to either take a nap or go to town or something..but anyways the boy finds her there and tells her they are going to run away then something happens that night, her dad finds out and trys to stop them either the boy (daniel) died in a fire in the barn cause i think her dad locks them in and starts it on fire or something to do with a pitchfork to the chest and she dies or something...but i think her bestfriend and twin brother form some kind of relationship and she walks in on him with a towel but thats all i remember and its also set in like..i dont even know what era but i think they were still riding around on buggies and the girls wore petticoats...but if anyone remembers this please tell me the name of the book cause its been driving me NUTS!

I also don't know the title of this books but I think, based on the story as you remember it, this one is quite advanced, meaning the love story is a little more on the adult side, given the fact that there's a portion where they make out at their young age. I guess this really happens nowadays. Good luck in finding the title of this book. Why don't you try google it?

I am not also familiar with the story. This is my first time to encounter it. I presume it about ghosts and other supernatural thing. The story seems so interesting to read.

Speaking of supernatural creations, some people living near an old barn would believe that these kinds of creations exist. But how true are these?

I don't exactly believe on this. It is only a product of human imagination.

I am not into supernaturals and I do not believe them. People are just scaring themselves out by thinking that there are something out there other than us, living people. I think we should not let those thoughts of supernatural stuffs go into us. But well, we all have different stand on these matter. I just hope that people would be much more open minded on this matter. Good day to all.

You read this in the eighth grade? I'm from rural Canada and still was reading picture books in the eighth grade. Feeling a little inadequate right now...

This book is not familiar to me but I am sure this interesting to read. I agree with Louis I don't believe in supernatural and ghost stories. I believe that we are the once who scare ourselves and those scary stories are just in books and not in real life.
