Answers: How long are your horse's turned out? - Uses for Old Barns
| Answers: How long are your horse's turned out? I recently got a new training job at a bigger show barn that only turns out one hour a day for a select few horses. My old barn did either overnight or all day turn out. I am taking my two horse's with me since I will be getting hugely discounted board, and I'm not sure how I'm going to work this out for them, they are used to about 12 hours turnout then 12 hours stall. I can let them out myself occasionally if I'm there, but they won't be getting more than maybe 3-4 hours a day. Do you think that's going to affect them? |

| I believe that Tommy's question, "How long are your horses turned out" is going to need an answer for a long, long time, as so far all the comments have been about how nice old barns are. Do we all really know so very little about horses? In the old days every Tom, Dick, and Harry would have had something wise to say about this topic, but now... nothing? |
